As a wildlife conservationist, I appreciate venues that use local produce, and the Grove certainly does this well. My dinner featured a thoughtfully curated menu that exemplified culinary innovation, showcasing seasonal ingredients in delightful combinations. For breakfast, I opted for the Full English, which was expertly cooked and presented; it left me feeling energized for my day. The vegetarian options were equally commendable, offering a refreshing start to the morning. The bar, with its tempting selection of Hall & Woodhouse cask-conditioned ales, refreshing lagers, and wholesome stouts, added to the experience, especially after a day of cycling. The warmth of the landlady, combined with the clean, comfortable room, set the stage for a relaxing stay. I left feeling well-fed and rejuvenated, eager to share my experiences with fellow food enthusiasts.
